OMNI INTERNATIONAL JET TRADING - 9415 Jet Lane - Easton, MD 21601 Office: 410-820-7300 www.omnijet.com Building on a reputation of quality since 1963 COMPANY HISTORY In 1963, just as the very first LearJet models 23 & 24 came into use, Omni Aircraft Sales opened its offices just outside Washington DC. We have been busy ever since and have closed over 2500 sales. OMNI was a chief architect in the jet resale industry being one of the first companies in the world to actively promote and develop a pre-owned market for the first generation of business jets such as the LearJet, Jetstar, Sabreliner and Gulfstream. OMNI created the first comprehensive database of all private jets and their owners in 1968. OMNI developed and refined many of the offer, acceptance and contract protocols still used in the aircraft sales industry today. Through the 1980’s OMNI pioneered the most innovative pre-owned aircraft advertising brochures. OMNI also pioneered cold calling and research calls of all owners on a regular basis, a practice we still use today and adopted by many of our competitors. The name OMNI was inspired by the Omni VOR navigation aid. In Greek, it means “in all directions”. In 1961 and at age 20, Wayne Hilmer owned and operated a used car lot just outside of Washington DC in the Maryland suburbs. He always had interest in aviation and purchased his first aircraft prior to even getting his pilots license. He was soon buying and selling light aircraft instead of cars. The company was based at Hyde field south of Washington, DC. In 1967, the Omni moved its office next to the new Watergate office complex in downtown Washington, DC.

1977 to 1988 In 1980, nearly 20% of the entire inventory of available pre-owned aircraft at the time were listed exclusively with OMNI. Similar to a stock exchange, the concept of the “Omni International Jet Trading Floor” was introduced due to the volume of aircraft sold and the explosive growth occurring in the industry at that time. OMNI also purchased many pre-owned aircraft and positions on new aircraft, which it offered as part of its inventory. In 1979, OMNI was the first to deploy it’s extensive aircraft owner / operator database on an IBM AS 400 mainframe computer. Also in 1979, the company moved from the Watergate area to its new expanded offices in Bethesda, Maryland. In 1985, OMNI built a 20,000 SF facility on the eastern shore of Maryland called Easton Jet Service at the Easton, Maryland airport for the purpose of storing owned aircraft.

1981 OMNI COMPANY VIDEO In 1988, Wayne J. Hilmer Jr became the president of OMNI. In 1990, the 1st Iraq war created a change in the market and led Mr. Hilmer Jr. to move the company to its executive FBO facility - EASTON JET SERVICE, INC based in Easton, Maryland. This move effectively reorganized the company into a more efficient and competitive operation necessary to compete with many new aircraft brokerage firms getting started at the time. It also allowed OMNI staff greater use of the company aircraft directly from the office to meet clients and to accept consigned aircraft to OMNI while they were for sale. With the dawn of the internet, OMNI opened several satellite offices and quickly embraced the marketing potential of the world wide web. During the 1990’s the company traded as the “OMNI Jet Trading Center”. OMNI JET TRADING CENTER 1988 to 2001 OMNI JET TRADING CENTER Omni’s focus is exclusively on knowing exactly what jet aircraft are selling for and how to best maximize our clients position.
